No, nothing to do with being slapped round the face by an orange man in lycra, but you will know when you've been tangoed after tonight's prom.
There are many different styles of tango - ballroom, Argentine, Salon, vals, Finnish... Finnish?! Yes apparently so. One of the steamiest dances reached one of the coldest climates in 1913.
But we're looking tonight at the music rather than the dancing and there's a huge selection to set your feet flailing. (You say Patada, I say flail). Anyway. The Finnish tango is much in evidence with several, including one from Sibelius. And there's more modern work too with Pablo Ziegler. But it's to the classic tango for today's video choice and one of the bestest tango names around:- Stamponi.
