We've been following the rise and rise of the Plymouth based singer songwriter Gozer Goodspeed for a while now so were excited to find out that he (and his hat) recorded an acoustic session for BBC Introducing in Devon radio show which will be broadcast tomorrow night, starting at 8pm. The 20 minute segment (which includes Gozer talking about the story behind some of the songs) should go out at about half past 9 but, if you miss it or can't get the show on your local radio, there's always the opportunity to listen again online.
Not content with radio domination though, Mr Goodspeed is also well into his local "Indian Summer" mini-tour of live gigs for September, which started last week at the Fantasy Festival in Cornwall. Here's the list of remaining dates where you can catch Gozer Goodspeed's good music live for the month.
Sep 9th - Timepiece Nightclub & Wine Bar, Exeter, 10.30PM
Sep 12th - Scholars, St Germans, 7.30PM
Sep 15th - Inn On The Shore, Downderry, 9PM
Sep 17th - Blues Bar, Plymouth, 8PM
Sep 24th - The Colebrook Inn, Plympton, 4PM
If you're new to the music of Gozer Goodspeed, he describes himself as "an acoustic guitar wrangler & stage stormer, blending blues-folk, rock & indie." With two EPs under his belt (read Steve's reviews here and here) and a wealth of support both locally and internationally, isn't it time you got your Ear to the Ground...
