News - Tony Awards Winners

The winners of the Tony Awards have been announced...

Before Broadway’s biggest night 36 productions had opened on Broadway in the 2015-16 season. Of those productions, 18 were nominated for Tony Awards this year. In a ceremony last night that was dedicated to those affected in the Orlando tragedy, the winners were announced. The big winner was Hamilton, winning 11 of its 16 nominations. Best actor in a play went to Frank Langella for The Father and Best actress in a play went to Jessica Lange for Long Day's Journey into Night.
